Rubber Expansion Joints or Rubber Bellows are primarily used to absorb thermal movements and vibration of equipment such as engines, pumps, etc. Their high flexibility also makes them suitable for compensating small installation misalignments. Rubber bellows can absorb axial, lateral or angular movement.
Due to their flexibility, even in narrow spaces, they are still capable to absorb large movements, can reduce water shocks and have a sound deadening effect. Rubber Bellows being manufactured from natural or synthetic elastomers or fluoroplastics are highly chemical and corrosion resistant.
